Adirondack Mountain Bike Festival

Brought to you by the Adirondack Foothills Trails Alliance (AFTA) and the Central Adirondack Association (CAA)

THE FUN STARTS ON FRIDAY THIS YEAR!

Friday and Saturday, September 27-28, 2024

McCauley Mountain, Old Forge, NY

Cooler temperatures, stunning fall foliage, the absence of annoying bugs, and about 30 miles of top-grade, machine-built and hand-built trails for all abilities combine to make the Adirondack Mountain Bike Festival a spectacular autumn event and one that should be at the top of people’s list of seasonal activities to check out.

It’s an opportunity for experienced riders, novices, and those curious about the sport to meet and test out the area’s new and improved trails, chat with vendors and exhibitors on hand, demo a few new bikes, ride along on a guided trail tour, and enjoy a couple of days of fun, food, and music immersed in nature and surrounded by the great outdoors.

The parking lot at the base of McCauley Mountain Ski Area will serve as the main staging area for all events and activities, as well as the trailhead for exploring the vast network of singletrack, double track and flow trails that extend to Maple Ridge above and Old Forge below.

Registration is Free. We ask if you enjoy yourself and want to support further growth to donate and/or become a member of AFTA (Adirondack Foothills Trails Alliance) our volunteer-supported, non-profit trail builders.

Adirondack Foothills Trails Alliance

Welcome to the home of the Adirondack Foothills Trails Alliance, an all-volunteer group of mountain bikers devoted to trail development in the greater Utica area and beyond. For two years, we have partnered with organizations such as the Central Adirondack Association, Utica Bike Rescue, and Cycle Adirondack to improve mountain biking in our region.

Central Adirondack Association

Today the CAA continues to manage, sponsor and support many events year-round because, even now, some visitors to the Central Adirondack region still enjoy being tempted.
